Without Challenge - There
is No Achievement
By Greg Hickman
The best of the very
best have always been trailblazers, those unique
individuals who are always ready to do things their own
way. These top performing individuals fully recognize
that without challenge in life - there is no
achievement.
Hey, being good every
once is a while is a relatively easy task. Anyone can be
good every now and again. It is being good every day of
our lives that presents us our greatest challenge. Being
our very best requires demanding the very best we have
to offer – every single day.
What about you? Are you
beginning to demand the absolute best from yourself? Are
you in firmly in charge of running your own show? While
these may seem to be real easy questions, sometimes the
answers are not the ones they should be. Being good day
in and day out is the goal of every self made champion.
A winner always, always, always
wants to be in charge of his or her own life and so
should you. After all, who in the heck else would you
want running your show but yourself?
There will always be
people who have, for one reason or the other, allowed
the winner inside themselves to be put on the back
burner. Without ever realizing it, they have allowed
others to assume control of their lives, control of
their dreams and control of their aspirations. This sad
reality is more than a shame, it is a present day
tragedy.
Whenever you ever feel
as though control of your life is slipping right though
your fingertips, you need to forcefully reestablish
control without delay or second thoughts. You need to
remember that the winner inside you wants to be in
charge, wants to be responsible and wants to be held
accountable. You need to listen to this winner and start
taking charge of your thoughts, words and actions right
this very minute.
By taking charge of
your direction in life, you accept personal
responsibility for your own actions – or any lack of
action on your part. Being in charge and running your
own show is an imposing challenge, but one you must
embrace in order to maximize your immense, God given
potential. Once you condition yourself to meet the
challenges of life without hesitation or doubt, you'll
experience the unparalleled exhilaration of everyday
achievement.
