Going Out Of Your Mind

By Greg Hickman

Have you ever felt as though you were about to go out of your mind? If you are like most of us, you probably have. Well, I am going to give you some unconventional advice. I don’t believe there is anything wrong with going out of your mind every once in a while. In fact, I heartily recommend it. Whoa, settle down. I'm not talking about completely loosing it or going over the edge when life has got you down. I am simply suggesting that you go out of your mind in a positive way.

You can "positively" go out of your mind by systematically stretching your mind, thereby challenging yourself to look for newer, better, more exciting ways of doing things. You will discover that going out of your mind will enhance your senses and increase your ability to work.

There are all kinds of things we have done and continue to do that needlessly place limits on ourselves. This limitation oriented mindset creates a myriad of problems for us. Whenever we are faced with a particularly challenging problem and there appears no resolution in sight, we can feel like we’re boxed into a corner. It is at these most troublesome of times we sense the pressure building and feel like we're about to go out of our minds. Here’s my advice to you – go ahead.

Why not turn the tables around and give in to that urge to go out of your mind in a positive way? Why not have a brain storm and turn around the way you have done things in the past? Our minds drive our bodies and our inner thoughts control our outward expressions. That is why it is so important to get our minds working for us, not against us.

Why not push past that limited portion of your mind that tends to hold you back and keep you in your place and instead tap into the "unlimited" section of your mind? Once you have broken through those inhibiting and restricting barriers, there is nothing left to hold you back or hold you down any longer.

This out of your mind mindset will allow you to unlock a limitless reservoir of imaginative ideas, creative concepts and resourceful plans. You can then pick out the ones which work for you and put these innovative tools to work for you immediately.

The moment you let yourself go (out of your mind), you'll watch your life take off! Here’s wishing you an "out of your mind" day.
