You'll
See It When You Believe It
By Greg Hickman
Henry Ford’s
name is forever etched into the annals of American
history. His company's success story, which continues to
this day, was a direct result of his innovative approach
to business. Henry Ford was a winner who knew how to win
and he believed in surrounding himself with winners as
well. When it came down to the type of people he wanted
working for him, it seemed he always looked for workers
who didn't know it couldn't be done.
He knew his
company could never reach the lofty goals and objectives
he had set by employing people who offered up excuses
why things couldn't be done. The only way for his
business to grow and flourish was to hire people who
truly believed anything was possible. His winning
workforce repeatedly found creative ways to accomplish
the so-called "impossible", because these winners did
not know it couldn't be done.
There is an
old proverb that says, "I'll believe it when I see it".
A winner's version instead says, "I'll see it when I
believe it". After all, seeing is believing ... in
yourself. Henry Ford's group believed that they could
indeed do it and guess what, they did it. This
irrepressible contingent of American made winners
repeatedly rewrote the history books as they continued
to do it … over and over again.
You too need
to believe, deep down where it counts, that you can do
it too. You've got to believe in yourself before
you can reach your goals. You've got to believe in the
winner inside of you before you can see that
winner come out. In order to make something happen, you
must first believe it can happen. You should
openly embrace that "I didn't know it couldn't be done"
mindset as well and put it to work for you.
You will
begin seeing unbelievable results when you start
believing in yourself and your abilities. You will
definitely see it – when you believe it.
